Boxing Day details 2021

This year, we’re joining up with our friends Grenoside Sword Dancers to bring you our first ever Boxing Day double bill!

On Sunday 26 December they’ll join us at our traditional spots in Woodhouse (11am) and at Handsworth Church (12pm).

On Monday 27 December, the return fixture will see us travel to north Sheffield to dance with Grenoside at their traditional spot outside the Old Harrow (11am).

We’re looking forward to reuniting with familiar faces as well as new friends and supporters for our Boxing Day celebrations. We hope to see you at one of the three performances, or more!

As ever, performances will take place outside but please do not attend if you have any Covid symptoms.

For updates and notices about the events – especially on the day itself – please follow our Facebook page. Links for the individual performances can be found below.

Boxing Day 2020

Boxing Day is a major date in our calendar. The team has performed at its spiritual home in Woodhouse and Handsworth every year since 1963. But in 2020 the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic made it impossible for the team to practise or perform. Instead, the team put together a special compilation video of our Boxing Day performances, and others, through the years.
